With experience on over 500 hours of music competition and award show productions, we leverage our long-term relationships with publishers, record companies, songwriters, and artist managers to negotiate the most favorable terms possible for our clients. Using more than 300 songs in a season is not unusual for a music competition series. Copyrights must be fully cleared and ready for production at a moment’s notice. KELLY BENNETT VP OF MUSIC SUPERVISION & LICENSING As a music executive in both Canada and the U.S., and now as a partner in Coda Music Services, Kelly brings us her intense talent and immense knowledge of music promotion, marketing, and business in both countries. With Coda Music Services, Kelly expanded her music business and creative work with an eye to Film and Television Supervision, including creative music placement, licensing, and soundtrack album coordination.
ALVARO MORELLO CREATIVE DIRECTOR/COMPOSER Alvaro Morello is an award-winning composer, most recently winning Best Music at the Vancouver Horror Film Show festival for The Strongbox. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a degree in Music and an internship with JSM Music in New York, Alvaro Morello moved to Los Angeles to build his career in film, television, and song-writing. From feature films and television, to national commercials and record companies, Al’s lengthy IMDB credit list illustrates his experience. His multifaceted understanding of the music industry provides a solid foundation for his licensing research and creative direction.
DAYNA DEMAINE CREATIVE SERVICES/MUSIC LICENSING Dayna DeMaine brings to Coda Music her unique creativity and love of discovering new music as well as her experience in the high intensity world of music clearances for networks and productions. As an arts graduate of ASU, this former member of the indie band Fufulasnu has forged a network of contacts with various independent bands, poets, artists, and emerging and edgy trends. As a music licensing professional, Dayna is compulsively driven to detail, nuance, and production goals.
DONET FEVRE TECH GURU Versatile in a variety of computer languages, Donat has created and produced Coda Music’s proprietary databases for the management of IP in multiple media platforms. As Coda Music’s first college intern, we are excited to have him back with us after his extensive programming work in the entertainment, communication, and retail businesses with industry standard bearers such as Laser Pacific Media Corporation, HispanicBusiness, Inc., Warp9, and Forix.
